The room was modern, nicely decorated with a beautifully designed bathroom. It was in an excellent and incredible location close to the train station. There was a lovely restaurant, a bakery and shops next door.

Good hotel with strong wi-fi, 24-hour reception, air conditioning, and luggage storage. On my first stay, the staff helped me with technical issues, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend enjoying the breakfast, and I'm coming back for Christmas.

Great Albergo. Hotel is certainly not luxurious but is comfortable, clean and friendly. Fascinating town is Camogli and hotel is well situated to enjoy the place. Great eating and Camogli is very picturesque with its trompe facades. There are some great day trips available too by bus or train to eg Cinque Terra, Portofino, San Fruttuoso, San Rocco etc etc. The hotel was very comfortable and we thought 110 Euros a night including an excellent breakfast for two was very good value. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us with eg advice on day trips, internet access etc. Altogether a most enjoyable and memorable week. I would recommend rooms with balcony and sea view (which is oblique). By the way we were also very pleased with the efficiency of the Booked.net booking service and we got the impression that the hotel liked it too!
Some people might find the "sea views" disappointing, since they look at the sea at an angle through a gap between buildings. However, we enjoyed them. We would have been disappointed though if we had had a room without a balcony and sea view.

Great location, excellent breakfast, clean spacious rooms and friendly staff.
No local information whatsoever about the surrounding National Parks, Portofino or Cinque Terre, was offered or available in the hotel which seemed very odd, especially as we'd partly chosen this hotel for it's reviews saying how much info there was! The local information centres in most of the local towns were also pretty hopeless which is surprising for such a frequented area. Our advice is to make sure you go with plenty of your own maps and do some research beforehand so you're prepared.

Friendly, family-run staff atmosphere made my stay enjoyable.
I was disappointed with the size of my Economy Double Room. It felt cramped and uncomfortable for my needs. The mattress was far too soft, causing restless nights. I also had concerns about the lack of sound insulation, which allowed street noise to disturb my sleep too often.

The location was fantastic, close to the beach and the staff were always pleasant and helpful, I would recommend this hotel to friends and hope to return there again for a holiday again. Internet was free and worked fine, as this is not the case in many places I have staying in since. Great breakfast with warm friendly service, always a must when the day is young. all in all it was a great stay, I felt welcome and at home! very pleasant!
the only thing I can fault is the bath towels had a funny smell to them, i do believe it was the detergent, something they could look at in the future as it was not nice....

This is a wonderfully pleasant and homely hotel whose staff make you feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. It may not have the luxuries of its posh neighbors but perfectly makes up for it with hospitality, excellent management, and helpfulness. They went out of their way to change my room which was very clean and comfortable but a bit small and dark (though some may like it as a welcome refuge from the ubiquitous sun!). The room I was offered in exchange was wonderful: spacious, clean, and even with a bit of a sea view! Breakfast was nice and generous. They're always there to provide advice on walks, transport, and places to eat. The hotel is perfectly located for the train station, beaches, restaurants, and country walks. I thoroughly enjoyed staying there and will likely to stay again.

Every moment spent here was a good experience! The amazing sea views from the balcony room. I appreciated the good breakfast spread with locally sourced fresh fruit and delicious coffee, served in a sunny conservatory that brightened my mornings.

(1) Cleanliness of the room. (2) Location. (3) Breakfast
(1) Noise from bulldozer cleaning the beach at 7am. (2) Whilst female staff were friendly, older male was gruff and unhelpful.

We found this Hotel was wonderful the Locality was execellent the village people were delightful would be nice if they provided a shuttle service from the railway as you either have 90 steps the get to the hotel or a rather difficult walk around the block

Excellent location by the beach, five minutes to the train station. Rooms feature clean designs with small fridges, great for keeping drinks cold.
Getting to the hotel involves navigating a steep set of 100 stairs. Packing heavy suitcases adds a real challenge. The mattress felt a bit too soft for comfort, which could be an issue for those who prefer firmer support.

Bright, quiet room with a separate bathroom and a shower, hairdryers, and slippers. Lots of excellent breakfast options. Great and brilliant location of the hotel, near the main attractions. Again, walking distance to Museo Marinaro.
Wi-Fi was kind of slow.

Most of the staff (female, not Antonio) were extremely helpful, willing to answer all the questions about the area and the hotel itself. I loved the proximity to the railway station and breakfast.
One morning one of the guests came to the dining room with a big golden retriever. The dog wagged its tail right beside our table and the hair was flying into our coffee. This should not be allowed. I also wish that the staff would attach a train schedule to a welcome letter. It would save many people lots of time. Lastly, I'm disappointed that the staff has not let the guests know that there was a railway strike one day. I'm sure they were aware of it.
